عکاس و مستندساز

سهیل ارجمند عکاس، فیلمساز و مدرس دانشگاه است. فارغ‌التحصیل رشته کارشناسی ارشد عکاسی از دانشگاه هنر تهران است. از سال 1365 با عضویت در انجمن سینمای جوانان ایران به فیلم سازی کوتاه می پردازد. کسب برگ بلورین بهترین فیلم برداری از جشنواره سینمای جوان یکی از جوایز او به شمار می رود.

کتاب عکاسی پایه و روایت داستان برای فتوژورنالیست ها کتاب های منتشر شده از او است. در طول دو دهه گذشته با شرکت های تبلیغاتی داخلی و بین المللی همکاری مداومی داشته است. و قسمتی از زمان خود را به تدریس در دانشگاه ها و مراکز آموزشی اختصاص داده است.
